CHITWAN: The Sixth Chitwan International Industrial Expo is set to take place from December 17 to 19.
The event will be co-organised by the Chitwan Association of Industries and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries.
Information about this was shared at a press meet held in Chitwan today. The preparations for the expo have reached the final phase.
Association President Trilochan Kandel said the expo will feature 200 stalls including 50 from India.
The expo aims to promote the industrial sector hit hard by the Covid 19 pandemic. The cost for organising the expo has been estimated at Rs 25 million. The institutional saving is, however, expected to be just around Rs 500,000 to Rs 700,000.
The objective of the expo is to support reviving the nation’s economy hit by the pandemic instead of securing a profit, he said.
