FOCUSONE, IMS Software collaborate for payment facility through QR Codes

KATHMANDU: FOCUSONE Payment Solutions on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IMS Software to collaborate on allowing users to make payments through dynamic QR Codes generated by the latter. Under this agreement, IMS will integrate FOCUSONE's MOCO-Digital Wallet into its consumer software which will let the wallet identify and scan the QR code presented by IMS. These joint efforts will improve the user experience and encourage consumers to perform cashless and cardless transactions. IMS Software has been involved in developing software solutions that help fulfil the demand of both local and international markets. It provides high-performance software to businesses by helping them to adapt to technology and innovation without interfering with normal operations. FOCUSONE Payment Solutions is a Payment Service Provider, licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. Since its establishment, it has been adopting various industry standards to ensure highly secured transactions and extend various services to its users. MOCO, a non-store value wallet is the product of FOCUSONE that provides QR Code based Acquiring Service to merchants as a merchant aggregator for national and international payment associations that include Alipay, Nepal Pay (Nepal Clearing House), UnionPay International and VISA. “This is our seventh collaboration with Digital Payment Solutions and it takes a step closer towards our mission of digitizing the payment and making transactions using only the software,” said Santosh Tamrakar, Managing Director, IMS Software. “This partnership will bridge the digital payment gap between Seller & Buyer,” he added. “We are very excited to collaborate with IMS,” said FOCUSONE Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pranaya Rajbhandari. “This partnership is one of the efforts to attain our vision of encouraging all the cardholders and enhancing them to initiate digital payments at ease,” he added.
