Glocal to hold on-site art competition in collaboration with Turkish Airlines in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Glocal has collaborated with Turkish Airlines to organise on-site art competition under the Skill Fest event of Skill Week 2022 on the theme 'Flying with Turkish Airlines: My Dream Destination'. Glocal has collaborated with Turkish Airlines to promote skilful opportunities for youths and teenagers in Nepal. The art competition aims to highlight students' artistic talents and promote reflective and critical thinking regarding visual art, and support students in building their dreams. The competition will be organised on the premises of Ace Institute of Management, Baneshwor, Kathmandu, on March 26. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and a round trip flight ticket of Turkish Airlines to his/her dream destination. As an airlines partner, Turkish Airlines will support Glocal in creating avenues to skill development. Glocal has been actively collaborating with Turkish Airlines since 2016. In these glorious six years of collaboration, Glocal has made it possible to develop synergies, unleash the potential and skills of youths. Aspiring youths and teenagers will engage in creative workshops and events such as Glocal Teen Hero, CEO Unplugged. Such events are expected to expand their entrepreneurial skillset and enable them to access perspectives beyond what they see in their day-to-day lives. Glocal has 12,000 reach with the teenagers and an average of more than 1.4 million reach with the young population of the country. Skill Week will be a great opportunity for youths and teenagers who have bright ideas and passion to bring about change and enhance their skills by enrolling on various workshops, competitions and case studies. Interested youth can register for the competition on the website of Glocal After School. Glocal is a business enterprise working in the areas of education, entrepreneurship and skilling.
