Gold price drops by Rs 200 per tola; traded at Rs 100,000 today

KATHMANDU: The price of hallmark gold has decreased by Rs 200 per tola to trade at Rs 100,000 per tola today. The price of the yellow metal was fixed at Rs 100,200 per tola on Monday. Likewise, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA) has fixed the price of worked gold at Rs 99,500 per tola today. It was Rs 98,700 on Monday. Silver price has remained constant to trade at Rs 1,390 per tola today. Gold price in the international market has been fixed at $1782.38 per ounce. The FeNeGoSiDA is the authorised body for fixing the price of gold and silver in the domestic market based on international value.
