Homestay facility attracts more tourists in Kaski’s village

POKHARA: Yangjakot, a historical village that attracts tourists, in the northeast of Kaski district has received an impressive number of visitors in the aftermath of Covid 19. With the end of the coronavirus fear, more tourists have visited Yangjakot in Madi Rural Municipality-3 and the panoramic sites there, receiving services from the homestay. The village is accessible for domestic and foreign visitors, thanks to the development of road networks. Khim Kumari Gurung, a homestay runner, said the village receives about three to four groups of visitors every day, while the number of visitors goes even higher on weekends and holidays. The villagers have run nine homestays where more than 130 guests can be accommodated. Likewise, more visitors stay in Yangjakot as it is also the headquarters of the rural municipality. Local residents shared that the visitors reach the site to get refreshed from the hustle and bustle of the town. Yangjakot, which is located 20 kilometres away from Pokhara with 12 kilometres of tarmacked road. By RSS READ ALSO:
