Jyoti Bikash Bank holds 14th annual general meeting

KATHMANDU: The 14th annual general meeting (AGM) of Jyoti Bikash Bank was held in Naxal, Kathmandu on Friday. The AGM was chaired by Hari Prasad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank. Arrangements were also made for attending the AGM through virtual technology. The AGM passed the annual report of the bank for the fiscal year 2021/22 and a proposal to provide 11% of the existing paid up capital as bonus share and 4.5% as cash dividend to the shareholders as proposed by the Board of Directors. After the bank passed 11% bonus shares, the bank's paid-up capital reached Rs 4.26 billion. In addition, the AGM also discussed and approved the report of the Board of Directors for the Fiscal Year 2021/22, the auditor's report including the balance sheet till mid-July 2021, profit and loss account and cash flow statement. On the occasion, Jyoti Bikash Bank also inaugurated three new branch offices at Tamghas, Murgiya and Tandi on the occasion of the general meeting. Chairman Hari Prasad virtually inaugurated the 106th, 107th and 108th branches. The bank has now a total of 108 branches within and outside Kathmandu valley. READ ALSO:
