KMC urges to remove businesses running in underground area constructed for parking

KATHMANDU: A team led by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah today inspected Baneshwor area and urged the businesses concerned to use the underground parking area for the same purpose only. The team directed the owners of the Shankhamul Burger House and Alfa House to immediately vacate the underground area on the property. The team asked for making arrangements for parking as per the map by immediately removing the infrastructures constructed for other purposes in the parking lot. A medical lab is in operation in the parking area of Alfa House while Burger House of Shankhamul is running at basement parking. Chief of Kathmandu Municipal Police, Raju Pandey, shared that Mayor Shah asked both of them to remove the other infrastructures constructed at the parking area immediately. Similarly, the team comprising Mayor Shah and Municipal Police Chief Pandey has reached Gaushala to get information about the building where Muktinath Development Bank is located. The KMC had issued a 35-day notice to remove illegally constructed structures. The KMC said it has been compelled to go for action after the notice was ignored. By RSS READ ALSO:
