‘Knowledge Maestro’, virtual quiz competition to be held on Nov 27

KATHMANDU: Glocal After School is set to organise a virtual quiz competition titled 'Knowledge Maestro' to engage young people in intellectual activities. The competition will be held online through Zoom Video Conference where youths can participate for free. Individuals who are between 16 to 24 years can participate in the competition after going through registration on the website of Glocal After School. The competition is being organised in association with King’s College. The motive behind organising the competition is to help participants gain and utilise their knowledge. This will help one to be aware of the things happening around the world and also make them intelligent in different aspects. It is also being conducted is to encourage the exposure of youth and commend their efforts towards active learning and analysing. The competition to be held on November 27 will announce three winners. The winner will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a cent per cent scholarship on tuition fees for Bachelor of Science in Information technology (BSIT). Likewise, the first runner-up will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and 25 per cent scholarship on tuition fees for BSIT while the second runner up will bag Rs 2,000 and 25 per cent scholarship The deadline for the application has been set at 11:59 pm on November 25. Competition Criteria:
  • One can register to take part in the quiz via the link: https://glocalafterschool.com/kings/
  • Every participant should have two devices available (preferably one mobile and one laptop) with them during the competition as the competition will be through video conference.
  • Every participant should have an ideal network connection.
  • Young people from 16-14 years old can participate in this competition.
  • Registration for the competition is free of cost
