LALITPUR: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has appealed to the private sector to help build a prosperous Nepal while remaining committed to socialism based on democratic values.
Inaugurating the second annual general meeting (AGM) of Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) here today, Minister Bhusal apprised of the government's goal for economic development, adopting three-pillar economy policy by forging partnerships with the private sector.
Bhusal commended the contribution of LCCI in the country's economy and extended her best wishes for the chamber to further contribute to the growth of country's economy.
Similarly, President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Malla, expressed his confidence that the government would address the problems of private sector and pledged collaboration with the government.
On the occasion, LCCI President Pushpa Ratna Shakya demanded that the chamber be represented in the local and central government units.
