Private sectors’ trust in the state will be kept intact: Home Minister Khand

SIDDHARTHANAGAR: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the government is encouraging the industrialists. “Private sectors’ trust in the state will be kept intact as they have tremendous role on state functioning,” he appreciated. Addressing the 63rd annual general assembly of Siddhartha Chamber of Commerce in Siddharthanagar Saturday, Home Minister Khand expressed worry over the increased import of petroleum products. According to him, MCC compact for electricity transmission could help augment electricity production and use and reduce import of petroleum. The Home Minister further claimed that MCC compact would foster development in the country. With the endorsement of compact, it has avoided dollar crisis. On a different note, he assured government assistance for shifting district jail. On the occasion, former minister Ghanashyam Bhushal reminded that private sectors have played important role in the national economy since ancient times. Businesspersons including Bhishma Prasad Neupane, Krishna Prasad Sharma, Ramu Shanghai and Mahendra Kumar Shrestha shared that private sector was dented much by the Covid crisis, so a special package of relief was needed from the government side.
