KATHMANDU: The government has promoted Nepal Police Additional Inspector General (AIG) Dhiraj Pratap Singh to the post of Inspector General (IG), and the Armed Police Force (APF) AIG Raju Aryal to the post of IG.

According to Minister for Water Supply Umakant Chaudhary, a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday took the decision to promote both AIGs to the highest posts of their respective security agencies.
