KATHMANDU: The Startup Network in partnership with Oorja World (Admitted into AWS Energy and Climate Lab) held its first incubation for four startups — Intern Nepal, Clueless, Gharma Doctor and Sayapatri Technologies — on June 16, 2023.

The incubation programme for these startups was conducted by Anukool Bhatnagar, BFSI Expert and Former SBI CGM; Upaul Majumdar, Head of Tourism Practice, Dolma Consultancy; Vikram Singh, GM, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel; Rajesh Rauniar, Executive Director, Nebico; Deepak Rauniar, Founder CEO, Oorja World; and Dr Sudeep Rauniar, Founder- TSN.

The incubation programme focused on grooming these startups towards maturity which included mentoring them on their organisational plans, financials and scalability matrix before accelerating them to the annual startup summit where all selected startups will be directed to the organiser’s partners for funding.

The Startup Network is committed to providing a platform for all these businesses to network, learn and provide a global business perspective.
A special address was made by Atul K Thakur, Joint Secretary and Nodal Coordinator India-Nepal Centre, PHDCCI, highlighting PHDCCI's role as the startup directorate for G20 and how Nepali startups could benefit it.
