Three-day ‘Yoga Sadhana Shivir’ kicks off in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: 'Yoga Sadhana Shivir' kicked off in Kathmandu today. Denizens of Kathmandu, Bihar School of Yoga, Vishwa Yoga Peeth, and Bihar Yoga Bharati, Munger, Bihar are jointly organising the three-day yoga camp at Agrawal Bhawan in Kamalpokhari. An experienced Sanyasi Swami Shivarajananda Saraswati, representing the Bihar School of Yoga, conducted the yoga camp. Swami Shivarajananda introduced 'Asanas', the postures under 'Surya Namaskara', and guided all the participants throughout 'Yoga Nidra' with instructions and suggestions. [gallery columns="2" link="file" size="full" ids="37460,37461"] Anyone who is interested in spiritualism or who has already been practising yoga can join the camp free of cost. The camp is being held from 6:00 am to 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In today's modern society full of turmoil in all spheres including various disorders of body and mind, Yoga has come as a boon which has a positive effect on multifaceted aspects of human personality. Yoga, which begins as a practice to address the personal needs of a seeker, is to be adopted as a sadhana through which one can overcome states of mind, limitations, and negativity to attain balance, harmony, and positivity in life.
