TANAHUN: Vehicular movement along Prithivi Highway has resumed following the removal of landslide debris near Aina Pahara in Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality-2 of Tanahun district. A dozer was deployed to clear the landslide debris, said the Aanbukhaireni Area Police Office. The road was obstructed by the landslide near Aina Pahara, resulting in scores of vehicles heading to their destinations getting stuck midway, said police. The road leading to Gorkha through Muglin and Aanbukhaireni reopened after clearing the road. But the obstructed road leading to Pokhara has yet to resume as the removal of debris is underway, said Deputy Superintendent of Police ((DSP) at the APO.
