Home Minister directs intelligence officials for timely information

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has said the officials can devise immediate strategies for the resolution of problems in case of any untoward incidents if right and factual information were shared on time. After an inspection visit to the National Investigation Department on Sunday, Minister Khand said the Department should be technologically sound and efficient to share timely information with the government. He was of the view that the government could prepare strategies to counter different issues if information along with the impact analyses of political, social, economic and cultural happenings in the country were shared on time. "New information on the use of natural means and resources, political, social, economic, criminal and technology in the world and their impacts should be shared with the government," Minister Khand added. State's information system will be weak if the department remains weak, leading to ill-functioning of the entire state mechanism, Minister Khand argued. By RSS READ ALSO:
